In Memoriam: Professor William Aiello

It is with profound sadness that we learned about the recent passing of Professor William (Bill) Aiello. Bill was active in our UBC site PIMS NSERC renewal committee. He brought lots of good ideas both as a member of that committee and as a member of the organizing committee for the successful clean energy conference held this summer. He was a very bright light at UBC and he will be missed by many. Our sincere condolences to his friends, family and colleagues at this most difficult of times.
