UW Combinatorics and Geometry Seminar: Sarafina Ford
Topic
Combinatorics of locally gentle algebras
Speakers
Details
Locally gentle algebras are a class of infinite-dimensional, non-connected algebras which have nice combinatorial interpretation in terms of quivers with relations. These relations ensure that each arrow is contained in a unique maximal path. In this talk, I will discuss joint work with James Zhang and Amrei Oswald describing how these maximal paths determine the spectrum, growth, and homological properties of locally gentle algebras.
Additional Information
Note: This talk begins with a pre-seminar (aimed at graduate students) at 3:30–4:00. The main talk starts at 4:10.
