American Statistical Association (ASA) Datafest

The American Statistical Association (ASA) DataFest is a celebration of data in which teams of undergraduates work around the clock to find and share meaning in a large, rich, and complex data set.
From March 29–31, undergraduate students from MacEwan University and the University of Alberta will form teams in an attempt to uncover the meaning in the data set supplied by the ASA. Starting on theevening of March 29th, the participating teams of students will work for 48 hours at MacEwan University to develop a short presentation discussing what they uncovered during their time working with the data.
