Details
With advanced in computer and sensor technologies, large-scale data sets are now routinely generated and recorded from a wide range of sources in business, sciences, engineering, health care and medical research, etc. Although data-driven method based on artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural network, deep learning has emerged as new and powerful tool for dealing with many real and complex problems, one should not ignore the importance of mathematics and computing. In this talk, we discuss our experience on integrating mathematical model, scientific computing and data to solve three real problems originated from industrial applications.
