The Edward Milne Community School Society is beginning a project that provides a unique opportunity for children to improve their reading, writing and math skills while having fun and participating in a variety of activities for free.
WHO: The program is aimed at grade 1, 2 and 3 students
WHERE: A school in Sooke – details to be confirmed soon
WHAT: A fun-filled summer camp that will provide a unique opportunity for kids to strengthen their reading, writing, and math skills while having fun! Each day, the kids will participate in innovative literacy and math instruction, and then get outside for play, adventures, field trips and activities. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Morning sessions will consist of skills-based learning in math and literacy, and afternoons will involve play outdoors, including outings to beaches and field trips throughout the community.
