Please read through the schedule below carefully. Please note, only participants are allowed in the exam rooms during the sprint and target rounds. Parents/guardians should arrange to meet their children immediately after the Target round to take them to lunch. Everyone (participants, parents/guardians and friends) is invited to the competition rooms for the countdown round.
ELMACON 2025 will be held in the Earth Science and Swing buildings on UBC's Point Grey campus. The competition is separated by grade, students will take all three parts of the exam (sprint, target, and countdown) in the room assigned to their grade.
- Grade 5: Earth Science Building (ESB) 1013
- Grade 6: Swing Building 122 (1st floor) & 222 (2nd floor)
- Grade 7: Swing Building 122 (1st floor) & 222 (2nd floor)
Registration will take place in the Earth Science Building is on Main Mall, directly across from the whale skeleton (Beattie Biodiversity Museum). The nearest parkade for both buildings is West Parkade.

10:45-11:00 | Sprint Instructions: MCs read instructions for the Sprint Round to the competitors (no admission to the rooms at this time) |
